Medien der Transformation - Filmseminar

After successfully completing the module, students will have in-depth knowledge of methods for analysing text-based, visual and audio-visual formats. They will be able to apply these in the context of media theory issues on the one hand and implement them in a practical film project on the other. Students are able to deal with media and cultural communication from a methodologically well-founded analytical-interpretative perspective and to elaborate on the basis of the practical film knowledge they have acquired (camera, sound, editing).

• Successful completion of a project work or an essay of 10-20 pages (60%)
• Presentation of an reseach topic and of the project work, approx. 20 minutes per participant and presentation (40%)
